Dr. Peter J Waidzunas

is a life long resident of Lake County.   Born in Waukegan, Illinois is married to Judy (Clay) Waidzunas and they have 2 children - David who has received his MBA degree with honors in Graduate School in Illinois and is formerly of Tranel Financial Group in Libertyville. Daughter Lauren is an attorney and Healthcare Claims Consultant.

 

Dr. Waidzunas attended Marquette University and the University Of Illinois College Of Dental Surgery at the Medical Center in Chicago earning both a BSD and DDS degree in 1977.

 

 Dr. Waidzunas has been in private general dental practice since 1977. He pursued his interest in anesthesia early in his career and has attended numerous post-graduate courses and further training ever since. Dr. Waidzunas is one of a very few general dentists in Northern Illinois to have advanced training, certification, qualifications, licensure and experience in I.V.Sedation Anesthesia. He has specialized his practice around I.V. Sedation providing patients who have not had dental care out of fear and anxiety of dental visits.
